Replace your washing machines water supply lines every three years, here is why!

Recently, our team responded to a water loss in Scottsburg, VA. At this time it was determined that the washing machine water supply line had obtained a leak. The resulting water damage from this loss was minimal and sustained to just two rooms due to the fast response of our local SERVPRO of Emporia/South Boston team. Located below are a few helpful tips and recommendations of what to do until we arrive. 

What to do until we arrive:

• Stay calm
• Shut off the leaking water source if possible
• Shut off the main water valve to the structure if possible
• Observe the area for potential hazards
